Are you really organic or is it just a marketing trick?

Organic Island products are absolutely, undeniably, organic!

We have put time and resources in to securing not just one, but two organic certifications, making us doubly organic. Currently we are Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and German certified organic through regulatory body BDIH, so you know our formulas are precision engineered to the highest standards! Our customers can be confident that our ingredients are of the finest organic quality. 

 

How can I tell if a product is natural/organic?

The ingredient list is written in Latin! Latin is the International labelling standards for natural ingredients. This,  coupled with certifications by registered government organisations like the ACO and BDIH are the easiest way to tell if the product is natural/organic!


Do you test on animals?

No, our Paw Paw is not tested on paws. Nor are any products across the Organic Island range.

In addition, none of our skin care contains palm oil!

 

Are you free from all the nasties?

Our products contain no nasties and are free from the following:

No Petrochemicals

No Parabens,

No sulphates,

No artificial colours,

No artificial fragrances & colours,

No alcohol,

No SLS,

No allergens,

No harsh synthetics,

No PEGs,

No Animal derivatives,

No mineral oil,

No DMDM,

No Phthalates.

 

Where do you make your formulas?

Australia, of course! Our formulations were developed locally in Queensland in a Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) facility that is BDIH & ACO certified.

 

My Product looks like it has separated into oil and cream, is it broken?  

It’s completely natural for products to separate particularly when they are organic. Products are often laden with chemical stabilisers and additives to make sure they always look the same. Our products don’t contain any of these nasties so sometimes they have variations. Just give them a little shake or blend the products prior to application to fix!

Can you ship your products as gifts?

Yes! We can ship your gift directly to your giftee, no matter where they live.

We also do gift wrapping!  We'll make your gift looked fantastic and send via registered post to make sure it arrives safer and on time.

Can I change my order once it’s been placed?

What happens if one of your items is out of stock?

In most instances you will not be able to purchase a product if it is out of stock. However, if you have placed made a purchase and we are unable to complete the order, we will be in contact straight away to sort out the issue. You will always be given the option to wait for your order, swap or refund the item. We will do our best to give you an accurate delivery date in the unlikely event that we don’t have a product.
